No swap on big boards?

Why is there no swap rule on Havannah for board sizes greater than 8? Perhaps the first move matters less, but conceptually I see no reason not to include the swap rule for all board sizes.

By the way, I think that Havannah is a great game - kudos and thanks to Christian.

I think it is because Christian originally designed the game without swap rule. So this is a way to honour the creator. If the rule is 'needed' I don't know, I am too weak at Havannah.

The current situation grew out of the original discussion. I was in the 'against' camp originally, but the swap rule has proven it's effectiveness on all boarsizes involved till now, so if Richard decides to implement it for all sizes, that's fine with me.
