For the record, I also get a display like David's. I'm also using Firefox 4.0.1 but with Windows Vista.

Get a similar error on Safari/mac here. I like the idea of a html-based hex analyzer. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the notice guys ! My css skills are rather poor. Anyway the problem should be fixed now. I tested it on Mac Os X in Firefox 4.0.1 , Safari 5.0.5, Chrome 12 and Opera 11.11.
Here is the original introduction thread.

I was considering building something like this for Havannah too. Can the board drawing be done programmatically instead of just an image?

consider using just a simple ascii board. it's surprising how ascii images can look quite good with just a little colour. and use next to no system resources.

@Castro_bot: You can draw the board with javascript on html5's canvas. This is what's done here: http://sansansolutions.nl/lg/

Very nice! Suggestion: Maybe it would be useful to have small dots on hexes to show variations for the next move. This way one can mark a must play region and then remove them as one test the variations while keeping track of which moves has been tested/analyzed.
