Class C tournament

similar to sections in Chess tournaments, this Class C tournament is for players rated 1400 - 1599. It is rated, and winners gain rating points, with the top player getting their name on the winner page! It starts December 11th, 2023. The current championship is just about over, and I'm allowing a month to sign up.

I am the creator and tournament director. My rating is too high, so I can't play in this, but I will monitor the tournament, and make sure it is publicized. On December 11th, if I don't see enough players registered, I will cancel the tournament.

As a paid member, I may as well use my hard-earned Euros for something!

My rating is too high as well, but I tried joining it anyway out of curiosity and got denied as I should, but it gave this message:

There are three people in it with ratings above 1500 and below 1600, so it seems like the tournament is accepting people as it should -- and that the error message is wrong -- but I wonder why it's wrong. And specifically, why a lower bound of 1426.2?

Richard's error message - needs to be addressed to Richard. I'd guess at his new rating system, translating Go ratings to numeric. I sure HOPE that's only a display problem with the error message, and not limiting the full range of players. mc.
