Similar to sections in Chess tournaments, this Class A tournament is for players rated 1800 - 1999. It is rated, and winners gain rating points, with the top player getting their name on the winner page! It starts April 9th, and the current championship should be just about over by then.
I can't play in this tournament, since my (current) rating is too low. Perhaps someday. Meanwhile, I will monitor the entries and publicize the tournament. If too few people have entered by April 8th, I will cancel the tournament.
I figure, give people a month to enter and/or withdraw. As a paid member, I may as well use my hard-earned Euros for something!
